This was painted when i was having heavily gender dysphoria mixed with imposter syndrome. I haven’t started to HRT yet and i was doing ipl treatment in order to stop my body hair which it wasn’t working well. I was having these demons telling me that i’ll be a man , my experience is not valid enough and i’ll never pass as a woman. So i created this piece by using oil paint and a pallete knife. I wanted to capture the pure soul crushing feeling caused by dysphoria and imposter syndrome together and portray the rotted darkness.
