In this piece, i wanted to bring the unsettling relationship between me and my mom when i was still in Turkey at the time. My mom was really overcontroling my life and i just wanted have some personal space and freedom. My mom found out that i was trans and my HRT right before i was going to come out. In summary, I came out without my consent. Her insecurities, pressure, guilttirps made me overwhelmingly drained to the point that my self harms and suicidal thoughts came back. So i upcycled one of my not so good paintings to realize this work with acrylic paint. On my current situation with my mom, our relationship got better since i moved to Switzerland.
